More about the Webinar:
Indigenous communities are strongly affected by COVID-19, but it is not the only difficulties they are facing: deforestation, implantation of industries on their land,... Let's take the time to listen to their stories. We will have 4 indigenous joining us, Paloma and Yan from Brazil, and Samia and Abigail from the Sarayaku in Equator. And to complete the stories we have 2 experts joining; Antonio Nobre (Agronomy engineer with PhD in Earth System Sciences) and Tasso Azevedo (is a consultant and social entrepreneur in the field of forests, sustainability and climate change). And we have the honour to have KUMI NAIDOO as our moderator; Human rights and climate activist, former Secretary General of Amnesty International.
